A quantum leap in technology at the core. Blu-Ray, WiFi, "free internet" are far from top of the line. HD lasers cannot download as fast as DVD lasers. And because of all this, PS3 is way difficult to program for... plus there aren't many NEW games.
Crazy potenial on paper, super programmer friendly and you can link all of your digital devices and PC for linking your computer HDD to your home system ala Xbox360. Problem was its start up and why you shouldn't go cheap or build something with so much heat and no place to put that heat. Improvments have been awesome. Did you know that thyis system has a HUGE selection of MODERN games. Cost you more than twice the $ for a PC/Display combo to match what a 360 plug and play on anything does. Did I mention its a huge selection of games.(at least compared to a PS3... Wii now thats fun too :)

PS3 80GB + Motorstorm Is Now $499 CAD. There are great games like Warhawk and Resistance. Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy will own! PS3 has HDMI out and a blu-ray player right off the bat, also you can easily transfer data onto it with a flash drive or memory card.
Xbox 360 has Halo and Gears of War. Halo is only really that good online, but gears of war is great all around. Other than that, the PS3 is superior in every way. It's next to impossible to transfer music onto a 360, you actually have to MAKE a CD! GOD!
