  • Chick Flick: Chick flicks are full of unrealistic tales of pain, romance, true-love, and passion that overcomes all obstacles. They perform a similar function for women as pornography does for men, fulfilling strong emotional needs/desires in an unrealistic and unhealthy way.
  • Action Film: Action films play to men's desire for action, violence, explosions, fast cars and loose women (more like trophies than real humans). They are mindless entertainment that makes a guy say "cool!"
